You are not mine

never were

never will be

You are not even yours

you are

but only to be returned

You are a loaner

and a loner

alone and on loan

for a time

Only empty can I meet you

empty can I be met

The seeing and being seen as not me, mine, you, yours

Only emptiness creates this capacity

a container that cannot contain

so perfect in it’s inability

there can only ever be this.
